Bio: Deidra Murphy is a resident of Kennewick with her husband of six years, Dr. Chris Murphy. After graduating summa cum laude with her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Whitworth University, Deidra taught at Vista Elementary in Kennewick, Washington for 5 years. Although she chose to leave the formal classroom setting, Deidra entered the entrepreneurial world by starting her own business called Style by Deidra, a personal fashion styling and image consulting company. Her passion is helping other women achieve their dreams by developing confidence through the power of style.

With her fashion styling business, Deidra works with clients both one-on-one as a personal stylist doing services such as closet cleanses and organization, outfit creation and personal image branding, plus personal shopping and more.

Deidra is also able to work with clients near and far with her virtual style programs and tutorials. Clients can work through their own style journey with video resources, online style coaching, tutorials, and more with the Style Success System, School of Style, and numerous other resources.

Together with her husband, Dr. Chris, they also own Newedge Wellness Center, a holistic health clinic and chiropractic office that teaches patients the 5 Foundations of Health. Deidra's dedication to health also led her to create The Synergy Challenge, an all-online personalized nutrition and exercise platform and to become a certified Zumba instructor.

In 2017, Deidra won the title of Mrs. Washington America and was able to spend her year promoting her platform of Holistic Health to the community and across the state. While competing at Mrs. America, Deidra won the national costume contest by representing Washington’s State flower, the rhododendron, a costume hand-made by her director, Pam Curnel.
