THE GLOBAL BEAUTY AWARDS

The mission of The Global Beauty Awards (TGBA) is to bring awareness to the pageant community and highlight the excellence of those involved. TGBA is your opportunity to become an official member to celebrate and elevate those that have or will be nominated worldwide. Exterior beauty has often been the focal point, but those involved can tell you first hand that pageantry is one of the greatest experiences for building confidence, speaking abilities, and learning how to properly network in professional settings. Pageant participants have become extremely successful as entrepreneurs in business, medicine, engineering, sports, television, movies, entertainment and so much more. TGBA earned 2025 Gold Honors with AVA Digital Awards for its Social Impact.

We are proud to announce that Fadil Berisha has been named the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 9th Annual Global Beauty Awards.

Born in Kosovo in 1960 and raised in New York City, Fadil’s journey is a testament to vision, resilience, and artistic excellence. His passion for beauty and art first began to take shape during a formative year in Italy in 1968. That early inspiration would evolve into a lifelong dedication to photography, fashion, and creative expression.

Fadil refined his craft at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology, where he studied Men’s Fashion Design and Photography. Shortly after college, a pivotal mentorship with photographer Donna DeMari helped crystallize his artistic direction and deepen his commitment to beauty photography. His return to Italy as a fashion stylist further sharpened his visual storytelling, ultimately leading him back to New York City in 1982 to launch what would become a remarkable 35+ year career.

Over the decades, Fadil Berisha has become one of the most respected names in fashion and beauty photography. His work is celebrated for its sophistication, emotional depth, and timeless elegance. Beyond the lens, he has also built a legacy as a philanthropist, humanitarian, creative director, and editor—using his platform not only to elevate beauty, but to empower people and communities around the world.

The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes not only Fadil’s extraordinary body of work, but also his enduring influence on the global beauty industry and his unwavering commitment to excellence.
