The mission of The Global Beauty Awards (TGBA) is to bring awareness to the pageant community and highlight the excellence of those involved. TGBA is your opportunity to become an official member to celebrate and elevate those that have or will be nominated worldwide. Exterior beauty has often been the focal point, but those involved can tell you first hand that pageantry is one of the greatest experiences for building confidence, speaking abilities, and learning how to properly network in professional settings. Pageant participants have become extremely successful as entrepreneurs in business, medicine, engineering, sports, television, movies, entertainment and so much more.

(Los Angeles, CA) You’ve heard of back-to-school for students, but what about back-to-work for moms? For many full-time moms, going back to Corporate America or starting a business can feel scary. That’s why a group of female entrepreneurs are coming together to help moms transition back into the workplace. The FREE event includes a discussion on shaking the imposter syndrome, building confidence, branding and getting a complimentary headshot. The event is taking place on Friday, August 23 from 12pm-3pm at the SLS Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Beverly Hills at 465 South La Cienega Boulevard.
For those interested in attending and listening to the speakers at the “Back-to-Work for Moms” event or getting a complimentary business headshot (must be hair and camera ready), please email [email protected]. Please let us know in the email which you will be participating in, listening to the speakers, getting a complimentary headshot or both. There is a limited availability for headshots.

At the 7th Annual Global Beauty Awards Show, 3 recipients received the DR. CONNIE MARIANO BEST IN HEALTH CARE AWARD.
This award is given to a person who is already in or going into the health care field and must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program. (Must provide an official transcript.)
Health care can be the following: doctors, nurses, optometrists, researchers, etc. and must have some association with a pageant(s). The top winners (at least two) will each receive a $5,000 scholarship.

A WELCOME PARTY hosted by The Lloyd Enterprises, Inc. From champagne to small bites to dessert to cocktails to dancing to 60 models walking the runway, to say the least, we had fun!
A panel of judges picked 3 winners in 3 age divisions. Each model walked away with a $1,000 check. Thank you all who participated in the raffle. Every raffle purchase is donated to Cancun Pro Kids to repair a moldy roof.
